Email Programs


Start Outlook

Choose "Accounts" from the "Tools" menu

In the Internet Accounts dialog box, click the Add button.

Select Mail to open the Internet Connection Wizard.

1. Enter your name: Jack Johnson

2. It will have "I already have an email address" checked. Leave that checked and type into the email box your Domain Name Email Address you want to display: jack@jacks-domain.com.au

3. In the incoming Email box (POP3) put your domain name: jacks-domain.com.au

4. In the outgoing Email box (SMTP) put your ISP's mailserver. (probably mail.your-isp-name.com)

5. The next step asks for your account name, enter the user name we assigned you and also enter your password.

6. Click Finish and that's it.

Tips
Each user can create multiple mail or news accounts by repeating the procedure above for each account.







For this example we will use details for:

Name: Jack Johnson

Website: www.jackos.com.au

Email aliases have been set to deleiver all email to Jacks POP account at Wolf Web.

1. Display the Personalities window (Tools menu -> Personalities)

2. Right Click the Personalities window and choose New..

3. "Create a brand new email account" should be selected, click the Next button.

  • Enter Personality Name: Jackos Email (a descriptive name for this account
  • Personal Information: Jack Johnson (your name)
  • Email Adress: jack@jackos.com.au (your domain email address)
  • Login Name: jacko (your Wolf Web username)
  • Incoming Mail Server: jackos.com.au (leave POP selected)
  • Outgoing Email Server: mail.bigpond.com (your ISP's SMTP Mail server)

Click Finish.

Eudora will now check this account along with any others you have set.

To send email from this account just select it by clicking the "From" field in a new message.
